Zani Karimi is a Kurdish Swedish entrepreneur and business leader. She was born in the Kurdish region of Iran and moved to Sweden as a refugee in 1992. She grew up as the eldest of three siblings. At the age of 13, she began working, which built her resilience, independence, and strong work ethic early in life.
Zani completed higher education in Sweden and earned degrees in real estate and human resources. At 23, her leadership was formally recognized when she received a young leadership diploma from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden through the Royal King Foundation. She later became involved in labor market initiatives and worked as a trainer and advisor for government institutions.
During her career, Zani has founded and led several successful companies, mainly in staffing and recruitment. She has been nominated for Recruiter of the Year in Sweden and has sold parts of her businesses to major investors. These achievements reflect her ability to build, grow, and scale companies.
After marrying her husband, Saman, Zani moved to Marbella and entered the real estate industry. She quickly became one of the region’s top brokers, achieving record sales and gaining the trust of high profile clients, including investors, public figures, and professional athletes. She has also appeared in several television productions related to real estate.
Driven by a passion for helping clients make smart and profitable investments, Zani later co founded Avida Estate together with her husband. The company provides high quality service and tailored investment strategies for an international client base.
Zani is fluent in Swedish, English, Kurdish, and Persian, which allows her to build strong relationships across cultures and markets.
